PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN
1.Keyword based Service Recommendation System for Big
Data Applications (Jan 2015 – May 2015)
• A java project on cloud domain with a map reducing frame work on hadoop to
give a personalized service recommendation list recommending the most
appropriate services to satisfy the user needs.
• A new algorithm called KASR is proposed from user-based Collaborative Filtering
algorithm for filtering the keyword using keyword candidate list and domain
thesaurus on hadoop.
2. DBMS and IMS for VIT HEALTH CENTER
(July 2013 –Nov 2013)
• PHP based web application to automate VIT’s Health Center.
• Unique login ids and passwords for all students and faculty members.
• Online medical history management to keep track of one’s past medical history.
3. Universal Higher Education Trust (Jan 2014 – April 2014)
• Developed a static website and a Database Management System for an
educational trust founded by Dr.G.Viswanathan.
• UHET is an educational trust established in 2010 for the welfare of the backward
community providing them economic support to pursue their higher education.
• UHET's Website aims to promote and create awareness about the initiation of
this ambitious project to reach the larger community. The website is live and
reachable at www.uhetindia.org.
4.An E-Commerce Website for a Resort (Jan 2013-Mar 2013)
• B2C online application for ordering meal and pre-booking rooms in hotels.
5. Debugger(Jul 2013-Nov 2013)
• PHP based Debugging Application which helps in detecting and recovering the
errors easily.
