I was able to connect many things through this article but would like to mention one which struck me the most. As our unit's main training for this year is "Differentiated Instruction" I was able to connect one thing instantly which was: A teacher's role is to "Match the Learner with Learning." I feel here in this article teachers were trying to do the same. They were matching the learner with learning by inculcating life skills along with academic knowledge in the way they understand and relate. But the Education system demanded RESULTS at the cost of gaining GENUINE KNOWLEDGE. This lead to cheating being done by teachers to ensure that their students met the Federal Standard Achievments' required to keep the school going. I absolutely comply with the statement used here that educators are "infatuated with data." The more the educators are focusing on Quantitative results rather than Qualitative, than the

  • consequence WILL BE Corrupted Education System. This statement gave me more clarity

    when it was supported by example given by our mentors regarding the results of board exams now a days. Almost all the students are deriving outstanding results and hardly few are getting

    failed. How is it possible? Its a clear example of corrupt education system.

    Lastly, I am very glad and proud to be associated

    with a school which follows TFU/IB framework of educating students, where in "Holistic Development" of a student is catered immaterial to

    any kind of pressure from the authority.

    Hoping that most of the schools start adapting "Gantar based teaching and learning method along

    with Bhantar based method."
