¨ Complete the worksheet together

¨ Take out your packet. ¨ Turn to the 3rd page – which reads “Favorite Most
Commonly Eaten Foods”
¨ List your 5 favorite foods and try to figure out which food group they go into.
¨ Then list the 10 foods you eat most commonly and try and fit them into a food group.
¨ Complete the worksheet with the questions at the bottom.

¨ Write down your favorite foods and the foods you most commonly eat
¨ Then, determine which food group that food belongs to.
¨ Some foods may fall into more than one group. ! How many groups does it represent? ! Does it have added sugars? Added fats?

¨ Do you feel you get a variety of foods? ¨ Would you change your rating of your eating and
activity habits? (bead box) ¨ Most teens do not eat enough fruits/veggies. ¨ How can you get more servings of these foods each
day?
