How to get to Rome There are many ways to get to Rome. First it has two airports one in the city centre and one just

outside the city.It takes 1 day and 3 hours to drive to Rome from mullingar.

FoodThe food in Rome is lovely.You are better off not to eat at a tourist attraction because it is

more expensive.You will find nice pizzeria's on side streets. streets.

The colosseum

The colosseum is an old Roman building.The construction started in 70AD and finished in 80AD.It still stands today.You can get tours around the ruins of the colosseum.

The Trevi Fountain is a fountain in Rome where people throw in money to make a wish.

The Olympic Stadium is the main sports ground in Italy.It is located in the north of Rome.It is also the stadium for AC Roma.

The Spanish Steps were built in 1725.The Spanish Steps our a big tourist attraction.They attract thousands of people each year.

The Vatican City is a city inside Rome.It is home to the pope.The main square is ST.Peter's.It is the big square in front of the main building.When I visited there it was beautiful and amazing. Inside the church was made of marble.The Sistine Chapel ceiling was painted by Michelangelo. It is one of the most famous paintings in the world.

The Pantheon is an amazing building.It must of been difficult to build a building with a hole in the roof back then because there was no technology to help them.
