Besides my roommate, I also got to know other Rennert students. In school, I met a lot of interesting

people from different countries with different lifestyles and cultures. Although we were different, we all had the same goal: to learn English while discovering New York City!

During weekends, we often went out to discover the nightlife in NYC!

We ALWAYS had a lot of FUN!

After school, we always did a lot of sightseeing! We wanted to get to know the American culture and the history

of the country.

We visited the Flatiron Building, which was built in

1902.

And of course, we visited the “charging bull” in Downtown Manhattan

We always had a lot of fun, and we really enjoyed our

stay in NYC!

In August, we went to the Bryant Park Summer Film Festival. There, we saw the movie “Dirty Harry”. It was so funny!

Of course, we also visited Ground Zero. It felt

strange to be there, we felt really sad.

We also went to Chinatown to experience

Chinese culture!

Aside from the typical Chinese stores, there were also a lot of fish

markets.

The Chinese Food in Chinatown tastes different from the Chinese food in

Europe. I think they really serve authentic Chinese food

in New York!

We were also really excited to watch a game of the Yankees! We had a lot of fun there, and of course, the Yankees won! Go, Yankees, go!!!

One evening, we went to a great talent show. A lot of unknown but very talented singers did an amazing job!

We definitely enjoyed the music a lot!

One night, we rented a Limousine, and had a party! It was so awesome! We

listened to American music, sang and danced!

After the Limousine Party, we went to a club to dance some more! We really enjoyed the American music, the American party

people, and the delicious cocktails.
