MY LIFE IN MATH CLASS

You have spent many hours in the past years in different math classes. Some of your experiences might have been positive, and others might have been negative. In this assignment, you will write a "Mathematician's Biography" about yourself. This will help us understand your math history. Please use the following guideline to write your essay, which should be four paragraphs long:

ASSIGNMENT CHECKLIST: Heading: Name, Team, Date

First paragraph: Introduces who you are. (You can share some facts about your family, your hobbies, a

fun thing you did this summer, etc.)

Second Paragraph: 1. Write about your BEST Moment in math class.2. Write about your WORST Moment in math class.

Third Paragraph: Share at least one strategy that you have used to solve problems in math class in the past. *Mention at least one specific math problem in this paragraph. (Example: show how you would solve finding 27% of 200.)

Last Paragraph: Write about the following topics: 1. What are you most looking forward to in 7th grade math?

2. What are you most worried about in 7th grade math?

Make sure all work is neatly handwritten or typed. You should hand this in on separate paper. Do your best to use complete sentences. This assignment is due WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th, 2013
