Dear Lion Supporter, Welcome to my first newsleer with prayer points. We have recently held our Annual General Meeng of shareholders complete with Annual Report for 2015-16 including audited accounts and I give thanks for it! Please do read the publishing highlights of last year. At the meeng I was able to share that earlier this month Canon Andrew White’s book My Journey So Far won the CRT Book of the Year award 2016 and The Unofficial Bible for Minecraſters won the CRT Children’s & Youth Book of the Year 2016. As you may know my first six months in office have not been without challenges and have required complete dependence on the Lord. Not least in losing a vibrant member of the Lion family: Nick Jones. We are currently planning a Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Nick Jones to take place at St. Aldate’s Church, Oxford at 2pm on Tuesday 29 th of November. We invite all supporters, staff, the book trade and internaonal publishing partners to aend. Amazingly we are amongst an internaonal family of believers who are even today being tested, but we can give thanks for many blessings in recent months: staff returning from maternity leaves; a member of staff geng married; three new recruits; safe domesc and internaonal travel for the sales team including the Spanish language event Expolit 2016 in Miami, a tour of East & South Africa and a posive sales conference covering books to be published in early 2017 by our 8 client publishers and ourselves. Please do remember to keep us in your prayers. Prayer Points: Pray that we may all be restored and made strong in Christ, he is the power. Please pray for: The good commissioning of new books from authors, illustrators and partners Fair sales terms and pricing to cover our labour costs of making and selling books Safe travel at home & abroad with good deals during Frankfurt Book Fair (19-23 Oct) A smooth transion for our banking arrangements & a good tenant for our northeast wing The leadership team at Lion Hudson * Please give thanks for: Good suppliers who are accommodang our business needs and paent lenders Robust IT systems to support of our people and encourage our daily work The September royalty statements & payments from our new system *A reminder that the leadership team are: Non-Execuve Chairman, Nicholas Gray and Non-Execuve Director, Alice Lawhead. Dear Lion Supporter,

Welcome to my first newsletter with prayer points. We have recently held our Annual General Meeting of shareholders complete with Annual Report for 2015-16 including audited accounts and I give thanks for it! Please do read the publishing highlights of last year. At the meeting I was able to share that earlier this month Canon Andrew White’s book My Journey So Far won the CRT Book of the Year award 2016 and The Unofficial Bible for Minecrafters won the CRT Children’s & Youth Book of the Year 2016.

As you may know my first six months in office have not been without challenges and have required complete dependence on the Lord. Not least in losing a vibrant member of the Lion family: Nick Jones. We invite all supporters, staff, the book trade and international publishing partners to attend.

Amazingly we are amongst an international family of believers who are even today being tested, but we can give thanks for many blessings in recent months: staff returning from maternity leaves; a member of staff getting married; three new recruits; safe domestic and international travel for the sales team including the Spanish language event Expolit 2016 in Miami, a tour of East & South Africa and a positive sales conference covering books to be published in early 2017 by our 8 client publishers and ourselves.

Please do remember to keep us in your prayers.
