Aims and objectives for my Elective.

• Improve knowledge and skills when working with premature babies and the complications that present themselves at birth.

• To have an opportunity to work with families in an intensive care setting.

• Become more familiar with working in a multidisciplinary team.

• To gain more experience with babies on long term and short term ventilation.
