What Do You Do?

Examines, diagnoses, and treats dental malocclusions and oral cavity anomalies. Designs and fabricates appliances to realign teeth and jaws to produce and maintain normal function and to improve appearance.

Skills Needed…

You need to be able to speak clearly to others so they can understand you.

Another skill to have is that you need to identify and understand the speech of a person.

You may be exposed to some some diseases and infections, so that’s why you must remember to wear gloves and safety tools.

Education Requirements

You have to earn a bachelor’s degree. Dental school usually lasts 4 years or more. You also need 2 years of college-level pre-dental education

After college you need to go to Dental school.

Dentists who want to teach or conduct research usually spend an additional two to five years in advanced dental training, in programs operated by dental schools or hospitals.

In Conclusion… I really want to be an Orthodontist

but being a General Practitioner would work for me too.

I think I would do great doing either one of these jobs.
