• Rattlesnake copperheads and cottonmouths are all pit vipers

• The snake has a forked Tung that flics up and down

• Rattlesnake eats lizards and small rodents such as ground squirrels, small rabbits, rats and mice

left overs for this animal• hyenas appear similar to dogs,

they are actually more closely related to cats

• Some Golden Eagles eat tortoises. They fly with the tortoise held in their talons and then drop the tortoise on a rock outcrop to break the shell open.

• Golden Eagles are more closely related to hawks, like the Red-tailed Hawk, than to Bald Eagles. Bald Eagles are more closely related to kites.

• They mate for life• These birds of prey are also

known as buzzard hawks and red hawks.

• The wingspan can be 38-43in• The red-tailed hawk is

displaying an aggressive posture when it holds its body and head upright while its feathers are standing erect.
