100 Years of Tradition
The new Mt. Vernon Township High School is becoming a reality and an opportunity now exists to be a part of history. A once in a lifetime chance to leave a permanent legacy as part of the new school and support the students throughout the next hundred years is offered in this brochure. Your support for the community, the district, and the future of young people in Mt. Vernon will be preserved for ggenerations to come.
Your support for the students will be ongoing and acknowledged by “naming rights” for many of the areas of education, as “supporters” of designated program functions and by classrooms and departments of your choosing. The reserved seating for cultural and athletic events is being restructured and donations may provide benefits for a ten year period of time.
TThe monies will be paid to and processed by the Mt. Vernon Township High School Foundation, which is a 501 (c)(3) organization and makes your donation tax deductible. The School Board authorization for the supplemental programs, facilities and equipment will only be made as sufficient commitments are received, thus timing becomes an important element.
The contribution not only provides extended benefits to the students in all phases oin all phases of education, but includes recognition to you for your demonstrated support of Mt. Vernon and the efforts to provide a quality educational learning experience.

Payment will be processed through the MVTHS Foundation which is a 501 (c)(3) for tax purposes.
If you choose to donate over multiple years,a pledge commitment will be required.
3 year maximum pledge for donations between $10,000 to $125,000 - 25% / 50% / 25%$10,000 to $125,000 - 25% / 50% / 25%
5 year maximum pledge for donations of $125,000 and above - 5 equal annual gifts
