Mutual Benefit (aka Jordan Lee) will release his new album, Skip a Sinking Stone, on May 20th on Mom+Pop, and tour North America late spring (all dates are below). The album, and Lee’s follow up to the adored Love’s Crushing Diamond, is a two-part meditation on impermanence that also acts as a portrait of growing up. Following the release of debut single, “Not For Nothing,” Lee now presents “Lost Dreamers,” and announces the Lost Dreamers Contest. “We can see stars from here / why would we go back anywhere.” Lee patiently sings, his warm vocals floating atop lush arrangements of strings and percussion as he takes solace in moments of freedom on the road. With the flute and vibraphone carrying the listener out, “Lost Dreamers” perfectly encapsulates the comfort and vulnerability Mutual Benefit so distinctly create.

The Lost Dreamers Contest encourages Mutual Benefit fans to share their dreams via the Lost Dreamers website. Each submission enters the dreamer to win a special Mutual Benefit - Skip a Sinking Stone gift pack, which includes a test pressing, limited edition splatter grey-blue LP, an original tour photo and a dream journal. Eventually, a group of dreams will be chosen by Lee and visually recreated by a select group of artists, resulting in an animated Mutual Benefit dream journal.
