While Spring officially began March 20th (although I think mother nature may have forgotten!), a season of transformation and new beginnings is also underway for the East Haddam Parks and Recreation Department. As of March 19, 2018 I started as the new director and have been busy planning spring and summer offerings. We are fortunate to now have a beautiful gym and activity room in the new East Haddam Municipal Office Complex. We are looking forward to putting it to good use by offering our town residents new programs (pickleball, anyone?) to promote continued learning, growth, and fun! And we’re committed to continuing some of our most cherished and celebrated traditions, like Music on the River. I know I have super big shoes to fill and much to learn. If you have any words of wisdom or suggestions, I’m all ears and my door is always open!

Sincerely,
