Friday, Oct. 25 @ NoonSarah Rose Taylor and Nigel PottsFriday Recital Series (Voice & Piano) Nigel serves as Canon Organist and Master of the music at Grace Church Cathedral, Charleston, SC. He and his multi-talented professional vocalist and linguist wife Sara Rose Taylor form a fabulous musical duo. They have made acclaimed recordings together and will offer a varied program featuring music meant to provoke the imagination by the sea.

Longtime friends and music professors at the College of Charleston, and veteran Piccolo Spoleto organizers and performers—Julia and Steve will surely offer a tasteful and most sensitive concert of early music that will be delightfully different from familiar recital offerings. Their musical maturity is unmatched and Steve literally wrote the book on the art of recorder playing.

Jack Mitchener is recognized as one of the leading concert organists and teachers in his generation. He serves as Organist and Artist-in-Residence at the Cathedral of St. Philip, Atlanta. He is also professor of Organ, University Organist, Chairman of the Keyboard Department and Director of the Townsend-McAfee Institute of Church Music in the Townsend School of Music at Mercer University, as well as the dean of the nationally significant Atlanta Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. This recital is not one you’ll want to miss!
