Symphonic Magic – Oct. 14, 2017 Rome City Auditorium, 7:30 pm. Combine the enchantment of classical masterworks with one of the coun-try’s up and coming masters of illusion and you get “Symphonic Magic!” Join magician Landon Swank of ‘America’s Got Talent’ fame and Maestro Jeffrey Dokken with the RSO for an unforgettable night of Music and Magic!

Magic of Christmas – December 9, 2017 Rome City Auditorium, 7:30 pm. Experience the wonder and charm of the holiday season through music and song. Maestro Rolando Salazar of the Atlanta Opera conducts the Orchestra.

Rossini’s “Cinderella” Opera – Feb. 24, 2018 Rome City Auditorium, 7:30 pm The RSO chamber orchestra joins with the Peach State Opera Company, one of the South’s foremost educational opera touring companies. This English language edition is fast paced, funny, and beautifully sung. Peach State Opera conductor, Dr. Evelyn Hughes conducts the Orchestra. Sponsored by Harbin Clinic.

Magical Keys – March 18, 2018 Berry College, Ford Auditorium, 2:30 pm You will be spellbound by the Artistry of piano virtuoso Dr. Alex Wasserman. Join in an afternoon of solo piano works by one of the region’s finest concert pianists. Co-sponsored by Berry College.

The Enchanted Bard – April 14, 2018 Berry College, Berry Chapel, 7:30 pm The RSO performs Mendelssohn’s composition of music to Shakespeare’s “Midsummer Night’s Dream”. The performance is paired with the enthralling voices of the Berry and Shorter Singers and talented players of the Rome Shakespeare Festival. Dr. Paul Neal, Conductor.

Seven Hills Performing Arts Festival presented by the RSO – April 28, 2018. 10am -2 pm Join us for our first family fun day celebrating the fine arts, games, activities, and music for the whole

family. And it is FREE! Family concert conducted by Maestro Jeffrey Dokken at 1:00 pm.

Young Artists Concert – April 28, 2018 Rome City Auditorium, 7:30 pm The 8th Annual Young Artists Competition winners perform with the return of Maestro Jeffrey Dokken. You will be dazzled by the musical talent and skills of these young musicians as they perform with the Orchestra.

Summer Jazz Fantasy – June 9, 2018 Oak Hill at Berry College, 7:00 pm Live jazz and pops tunes with an “al Fresco” feel – our traditional summer con-cert with picnic tables, food and friends! Whenever there’s music and magic in the air, anything can happen! Co-sponsored by Oak Hill Museum.
