A Message from the Director

Greetings UIL Members and Participants:

On behalf of the University Interscholastic League, I would like

to congratulate all UIL Participants and member schools that

are a part of the 2009-10 Champions Yearbook. Each year, our

participants bring new outstanding achievements. The 2009-

10 school year proved to be no different. Through your hard

work and determination, you ascended to the highest level of

competition in Texas. The 2009-10 school year marked the

centennial anniversary of the UIL, and we would like to thank

you for making our celebration a success. For more than a

century, the UIL has promoted educational and athletic

excellence through competition. Your hours of practice have

showed your discipline and dedication, and our hope is that

your experiences were memorable. You should be proud of your accomplishments and contributions

to extracurricular activities in Texas. Congratulations again on an outstanding school year, and best

wishes for the future!

Sincerely,

Dr. Charles Breithaupt
