Triceps brachii (long head)

Action: Extension at the elbow

Origin: Superior, posterior and lateral margins

of the humerus and scapula Insertion:

Olecranon process of ulna

Biceps brachii:

Action: Flexion and supination at the shoulder

Origin: Short head- corocoid process Long head- supraglenoid tubercle

Insertion: Tuberosity of the radius
