Description GECF is in the business of providing credit-card and otherrelated financial services to leading retailers across the US andCanada. These services span the entire range of own-labelcredit card processing services ranging from receiving andprocessing credit-card applications to generating invoices andprocessing accounts receivable.

When a customer pays his credit card bill (afterreceiving his statement), for the purchase he has made overthe last month that is called payments and it comes toremittance. In Remittance, we process and send it toReceivables for posting into customers accounts. The objectiveof Remittance offshore support is to assist the client inmaintenance/enhancements of the Remittance application. Incase of introduction of new client or change in the existing

system, Remittance offshore team is to assist the client insetting up the test environment and testing the data receivedfrom the new client and the application.

Project Mexico VRG Enhancements

Customer GE Fleet Services, Minneapolis, USA

Period Dec 2003 to Jan 2004

Description GE-Capital Fleet Services (GE-CFS) is in the business ofleasing vehicles to corporate, and providing all related servicesover the life cycle of the vehicles. In other words corporate canoutsource their complete fleet management requirements toGE-CFS. GE-CFS hence acts as a one-stop shop for all fleetrequirements of its customers.

Mexico VRG project was one of the most critical projects inbusiness point of view. This project involved enhancement of

the Vehicle remarketing system (VRG) for Mexico business. Itdealt with the automation of the remarketing system for Mexico

business. Currently this facility is available only to the US andCanadian users. The primary objective of this project is toextend the remarketing facility to the Mexico Users.
