OWLS Our OWLS (Older, Wiser, Lovable Seniors) May Potluck is scheduled for May 18 at 6PM. Since May is our anniversary month, we will serve a catered dinner, so NO need to bring cash or a side dish. Bring your appetite and be ready to enjoy celebrating OWLS 9th Anniversary! May we suggest that you bring some item(s) for the Food Pantry? Gil Opherrman will provide a fun evening with some of the songs form this summer’s Muni Musicals. Sign up in the Gathering Space this weekend.

Preschool Graduation The 2018 graduates of St. Joseph the Worker Preschool invite you to attend their graduation ceremony on Tuesday, May 15th at 6:30PM. The ceremony will be held in the church sanctuary. A reception in the O’Hara Hall will follow.
Blood Pressures Today Blood Pressures are being taken this weekend before and after all Masses. Thank you to our Parish

Adult Coloring Group The Adult Coloring Group is held on the third Wednesday of the month. Join the group on May 16 at 11:30AM. Bring your lunch and coloring materials and enjoy some peace filled de-stressing time and meet new friends!
Catholic Communication Campaign The weekend of May 20 there will be a collection for the Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC). By supporting the CCC, you help to spread the Good News to people locally and around the country .
The next TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) is May 20 at 9:15AM. If you are a member of St. Joe’s you are a member of TEAM. Please join us!
Philippians Bible Study Bible Study is cancelled this Sunday, May 13 because of Mother’s Day. It will resume at 6PM on Sunday, May 20.
SJW Walking for God The SJW Walking for God & Fitness Spring Program will be starting again, Wednesday, May 16 from 6:15-7PM for six weeks. It’s a great opportunity to meet people, walk, and

Youth Group Opportunities!
China Towne Ceramic Studio Don’t miss your opportunity to create a master piece. We’ll meet at the church at 1:30PM on Sunday, May 20th and will carpool over to China Towne. Return time to the church is around 4:30PM. This event is open to youth in levels 6-12. Participation is limited to the first 30 participants. Sign up in the Gathering Space or via email at [email protected] Study Zone The first annual St. Joe’s Study Zone will be open
from 4-6PM on May 21, 22, and 23 so high school students can prepare for final exams. Meet at the church for snacks, drinks, and a relaxed study environment.
FAITH FORMATION & YOUTH
Senior Graduation Mass and Breakfast On Sunday, May 20th, we invite our graduating High School Seniors and families to join us for the 10:30AM Mass, with breakfast to follow in Kollross Hall in their honor. Please RSVP with your family name and how
many will be in attendance to Janice Anderson directly or sign up in the gathering space, no later than Sunday, May 13th.
High School Juniors, please plan to help out with at least one of the shifts available. Sign up by contacting Janice Anderson in the church office or on the sign up board, posted in the gathering space as well. Thank You in advance for any time you can offer!
Preschool Registration Registration for the 2018-1019 year is ongoing. Currently both of our classes are full for the upcoming school year, but waitlist positions are available. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.
Faith Formation Registration Now Open Registration for the 2018/2019 Faith Formation year is now open. We ask all families with children kindergarten through grade level 8 to register for Faith Formation.
Children may attend Sunday mornings (Session I), 9:15-10:15AM, or Wednesday evenings (Session II), 6:30-7:30PM. All high school students are asked to give a phone number and email address to be informed of upcoming activities.
More information and forms can be found on our website, in the back of church or you may stop into the church office. Cost is $30 for one child, $60 for more than one. Please note, fees will double after July 1, so register early to avoid those added costs. There is no cost to register your high schooler for youth ministry.
VBS - Shipwrecked; Rescued by Jesus
July 23-27 from 9-11:30AM Open to all children age 4 (by 9/1/2018) to present grade level 4 (entering grade 5). Registration will end on July 1, so reserve your family’s spot today! Cost is $10 per family. Forms can be found on our website, in the back of church or in the church office.
