Procurement of Services for Street Cleaning, Refuse Collection and Disposal, includingcarting away of Post Cyclonic Waste in the Town of Beau Bassin Rose Hill (Period 36

months as from award of bid) Year 2016-2018

1. The Municipal Town Council of Beau Bassin Rose Hill through the Central ProcurementBoard is inviting sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the services for StreetCleaning, Refuse Collection and Disposal, including carting away of post cyclonic wastein the Town of Beau Bassin - Rose Hill.

2. The period of contract shall be thirty six (36) months from award of contract and the bidshall be valid for 90 days, i.e. up to 14 February 2016

3. Qualifications requirements include:

(i) Contractors having technical capacity, resources and sound fmancial standing, and

(ii) As per other qualifying criteria mentioned in the bidding document.

4. Bidding shall be conducted through Open Advertised Bidding procedures according to therules and regulations of Mauritius.

5. The bidding document is available as an attachment, free of charge, on the followingwebsite www.publicprocurement.govmu.org;

6. Any clarification sought by any bidder in respect of this bid exercise shall be addressed inwriting to the Chief Executive, Municipal Town Council of Beau Bassin - Rose Hill onfax: 4549509.

7. Bids in sealed envelopes clearly marked services for Street Cleaning, Refuse Collectionand Disposal, including carting away of post cyclonic waste in the Town of Beau Basin -Rose Hill and the reference CPB/3012015, addressed to the Ag. Chief Executive, CentralProcurement Board must be deposited in the Tender Box located on the 1st floor, Social

Security House, Julius Nyerere Avenue (Ex-Moka Road), Rose Hill up to 13.30 hours(local time) at latest on Tuesday 17 November 2015. Electronic bidding shall not bepermitted. Late bids will be rejected.

8. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of bidders' !bidder's representatives whochoose to attend in person in the Conference Room, Central Procurement Board at theabove mentioned address on the same day as from 14.00 hrs (local time).

9. The Municipal Town Council of Beau Bassin - Rose Hill reserves the right to:

(i) Accept or reject any bid;

(ii) Annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of contractas per provision of Section 39 (1) of the Public Procurement Board Act 2006.
