Message
With the love and affection of citizens of
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) and by the grace of
God I have been given opportunity to serve city of
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) as Mayor . In
pursuance of the policies, I will strive to work hard to
provide you transparency in functioning of the
Municipal Corporation and improve the civic amenities
of the city.
Message
We aim to provide services to the residents of
Mohali in an efficient and user friendly manner and
reduce inconveniences caused to the public for getting
information from various departments. I want us all to
be committed to Vibrant, productive, harmonious,
sustainable and environmental friendly, clean and
livable city having a responsive local government
offering its citizens a good quality of life.
1. Extension and Augmentation of Water Supply under AMRUT of Mohali is under process. Under it the provision of energy audit regarding replacement of energy efficient water pumps is also covered.
2. Under the AMRUT Mission the following two parks will be developed in Phase-1 of green spaces:
Park at 649 Phase-9 - S.A.S. Nagar – Mohali: -36.85 lacs
Park at front of Plot NO-C 102/B (PTU- BUILDING) S.A.S Nagar, Mohali: - 60.32 lacs.
The parks has broadly divided into below mentioned areas 1. Play areas
2. Community revitalization
3. Recreational activity
4. Aesthetic
5. Children play area furnished with play equipments and easier supervision by parents.
6. Barrier free movement.
7. Existing natural landscape features are retained and beautified by clearing the around area.
8. Entrance has been proposed as easy to identify and accessible.
9. Adequate lighting with all necessary street furniture for ease of public.
10. Pathways –proposed and repaired.
11. Dustbin and benches.

National Urban Livelihoods Mission
Action To Be Taken by Municipal
Corporation SAS Nagar Mohali under the
component of NULM :
Self Help Group (SHG) :
.Under this 6 group of SHG were
made containing 10 women in each group.
Self Employment Program (SEP).
Under this programme MC will make
bank to provide loan amount of 2 lakh
individually at 4% interest rate for
women and 7% interest rate for man.
Under this MC received 14 application
And 9 applicant got approval for Loan.
1. To execute the scheme MC Mohali make agreement with Haryana
Navyuvak Sangam Society .
2. In the scheme the survey of street vendors carried out by the hired
agency . And the total number of street vendors is 993.
3. Zoning Plan has been prepared and consent process is under process.
1. Under the SBM , Corporation has take many initiatives. One of great step
taken by Mohali corporation is segregation of waste on the collection point on
May 15 ,2017.
2. To aware people about the importance of segregation waste many drive have
taken by MC Mohali.
3. Regarding this Hording were plotted on the sites and also distributed pamphlet
in publics places.
