    Important InformationClasses fill quickly. Payment is due at the time of registration. Students unable to pay will be placed on a waitinglist until payment is received. Multi Arts Center accepts cash, checks, and credit cards. Checks should be madepayable to Multi Arts Center and checks for supply fees to the class instructor.

    SuppliesIf no supply fee or list is shown, supplies are included in the cost of the class. Supply fees can only be paid bycash or check; checks should be made out in the name of the instructor. Students are responsible for purchasing

    their own supplies if a class indicates a supply list. Students should keep their receipts in the event items need tobe returned.

    Refund PolicyClasses with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled and all fees returned. No refunds will be granted after thefirst class, or if a student misses any classes. Cancellations by a student must be made no later than one weekprior to the class for fees to be refunded. No refunds or credits will be given for studentcancellations less than one week prior to the class.

    We do Birthday Parties, Girls Night Out Parties, Teen Parties and More! Mostof our birthday parties are for children, but we can also do teens and evenadults. How cool would it be to have a surprise birthday party at Multi Arts

    Center for a co-worker? We provide the materials and a host/instructor formany types of art projectssuch as drawing/cartooning, fused glasspendants, slumped glass dishes, beaded jewelry and more!     Ceramics and Sculpture StudioFee: $12 per week.You are responsible for providing your own clay. Youmay make clay in the pug mill for $10.00 per 25 poundsof clay. Students who have not taken aceramics class at Multi Arts Center must take anorientation class to determine eligibility. Orientation fee:$25

    Jewelry & Metals StudioFee: $20 per monthOnly students who have successfully completedJewelry & Metals II and have permission frominstructor Joseph Richardson may participate in thisopen studio. Fee includes the use of solder,acetylene, wax and vestment. All other supplies are theresponsibility of the student.

    Darkroom StudioFee: $12 per week.You are responsible for providing film and paper.

    Weaving StudioFee: $10 per month

    Quilting StudioFee: $10 per monthYou are responsible for providing cutters and asewing machine. Grand Quilter Machine-$4 per hour

    Stained Glass StudioFee: $10 per month

    Special permission from the instructor is needed toparticipate. You are responsible for providing allexpendable materials, including glass, foil, copper,solder, etc.

    Glass Fusing StudioFee: $20 per monthincludes two large tray firings permonth; additional fees apply for slumping and over twofirings per month: large shelf firings (over 2) are $2;slump firing is $1 for molds up to 5 and $2 for moldsover 5 in size. Permission from the instructor is neededto participate. You are responsible for providing allexpendable materials, including glass, glue, etc.

    Open studios are ongoing, year-round opportunities to advance your skills by working independently.Students must be able to demonstrate previous experience in their chosen media. Fees apply to students whoare not currently enrolled in the corresponding class at Multi Arts Center. The space is available during regular

    hours, when it is not being used by a scheduled class. Any changes in the Open Studio Policies will be posted atthe center or emailed to those who participate in open studio ten days prior to the date they go into effect.

Students will learn to wind a warp,warp a floor loom and read a simple draft to create abeautiful woven projects.     SOS Surviving Occasional Sewing BasicHand SewingClass Fee: $40Instructor: Barbara FultonThis is a beginner class that will introduce participants

    to basic hand sewing tools, techniques andapplications. Participants will learn how to use pins,needles, thread, pliers, and thimbles. They will explorethe components of fabric and their importance inclothing construction and design, and learn thestructural difference between printed vs. woven fabricwhere mending is concerned. This is a good introduction for those with aninterest in weaving, but without the space for a full sizefloor loom.     Indian foods (Tandoori Chicken, Naan, briyani). Recipand methods will be demonstrated in a step-by-stepmanner. There will be an overview of ingredients,including spices, and students can re-create the disheat home and bring questions to the second class.Students will get to sample food and ask questionsduring class.     Landscapes Impressionist StyleClass Fee: $90 plus Supply ListInstructor: Linda KerthThis class is for beginning art students or those new to oilpainting, but students of any skill level are welcome.Classes will have short lectures and demonstrations by

    the instructor. Most of your class time will be used tocreate your own Impressionist-style painting.     Clay Sculpture of the Human FormClass Fee: $80Instructor: Mike SmolenThe class will use a live model and photographs tocreate a portrait (and a full figure if time) in water-based clay. All ability levels are welcome. This will bea fun class for both experienced and novicesculptors. No experience is required.     Classes with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled and all fees returned. No refunds will be granted after the first

    class, or if a student misses any classes. Cancellations must be no later than one week before the class for fees to be
