Step 1: Understanding your business requirements.

Your Consultant/Account Manager will visit your business to discuss every vacancy to gain an in-depth understanding of your business, future plans, the team culture and working environment, as well as the job and person specification. We will define and agree a transparent recruitment process illustrating our approach, timescales and methods to be used.

Step 2: Candidate attraction.

We are conducting detailed and extensive candidate searches on a daily basis to identify the very best talent in the North East job market. We will use our extensive resources and methods to identify the best candidates for your organisation.

The main methods we use are:

We utilise an industry leading and highly advanced software Database – RDB Pro Net which contains thousands of candidates who are fully registered and looking for employment, many are unique to MTrec and are not found on any other recruitment database.

We develop and produce interesting and highly attractive advertising copy to attract the right candidates to your vacancy. We will also email a copy of the advert to you for approval before placement. Once approved the advert is placed on the UK’s leading job boards as well as our own web site for maximum exposure. We continuously advertise for all vacancies to ensure real time candidates are identified for any client.

We also utilise our extensive network of contacts within industry to identify recommendations and passive job seekers who may be interested in the right career move.

Step 3: Candidate pre-selection and short-listing.

We use industry leading screening methods to ensure the best candidates are identified and short-listed. Our methods of assessment are rigorous and include face to face competency based interviews against your job and person specifications, in-depth reference checking and suitability and eligibility checks.

Once our search and pre-selection has been completed our technical team will present their shortlist of CV’s to you as well as the overall search results, ideally in a face to face meeting to gain valuable feedback and further insight into your recruitment process.

We will then complete all interview logistics and feedback ensuring the process is a smooth as possible.

Our Industrial team will shortlist the best candidates for each client and place them on job-ready stand-by lists to ensure any immediate requirements are filled immediately.

Our Industrial Team will organise and manage company inductions to ensure that all candidates are fully aware of the demands of their role.

This will reduce turnover as well as enable the account managers to make sure that each candidate is 100% committed before they start at your company.

Line trials are also carried out to ensure that each candidate on stand-by has the necessary skill-set to perform their duties at the required level.

Step 4: Offer management/providing staff.

For permanent recruitment we will support you during the job offer and acceptance stage, ensuring the candidates expectations are aligned with your job offer.

For temporary staffing we meet our new starters on their first day so that they arrive at the right time, briefed and ready for work.

Step 5: On-going review.

Our Industrial team will be able to provide you with weekly/monthly management reports on agreed key performance indicators. For permanent placements we will stay in touch with you and the candidate on a monthly basis to ensure the transition into your business is as smooth as possible.
