Connection Subsystem
It comprises of Switching Matrix Station(SMX),Trunk multiplex Station(SMT), Auxiliary EquipmentStation(SMA) & all associative LR links.
It consists of connection equipment forconnecting PCM junctions, auxiliary equipmentfor tones and signaling, switching equipment forperforming digital time switching.
