MTA eTix App: Home Screen

1 To buy a ticket, choose “Buy Tickets” or select a stationcombination youhave previouslypurchased —highlighted below “Buy Tickets”.

2 Choose the station you are “departing”from byscrolling down (ortyping station name). Then choose your“destination” station by scrolling down(or typing station name).

3 Choose the ticket type you would liketo purchase from selection menu. Thenclick on arrow to the right and choose the number of tickets.

4 Select a credit/debit card you have saved already in youraccount or click on “add new card” feature. Click “Accept & Pay” afterreviewing ticketpurchase.

5 “Transaction Successful” appears after purchase. Clickon “Go to Ticket Wallet” when you are ready to activate ticket (just prior toboarding).

6 Just prior to boarding, click “Ticket Wallet” tab to access the saved ticket(s) you would like to activate. Click on the ticket you would like to use (just prior to boarding).

7 Just prior to boarding, click “Activate Ticket” to continue with the validation process.

8 Your ticket is now activated and ready to show to the Conductor.

9 Clicking on “Ticket Info” tabprovides you with additional information on your ticket purchase and ticket regulations.

Finally, there are several helpful tools you can use in the “Utilities” menu including Trip Tools, Social Media link, Help and access to your account settings.
