September 6, 2019 Dear Friends: I would like to invite you to our annual ”Fire On The Mountain" Bible Conference, which will be held in the beautiful Joe Boyd Tabernacle at Mt. Salem Revival Grounds on October 11 - 12. The fall colors will be brilliant and the preaching will be powerful. Individuals and families will enjoy the food, fellowship and festivities of this fall retreat. We encourage pastors to bring your church families and/or your teens as a group. Dr. Charles Hiltibidal and Pastor David Bishop will be our guest speakers. They will be preaching on Soul Winning and Bible Prophecy. Dr. Charles Hiltibidal will preach Friday night at 7:00 p.m. on Bible prophecy as it relates to end-time events. After the service there will be concessions at the Roy Conley Dining Hall, and an auction conducted by Mark Swope to benefit the camp. You can bring items to donate such as: tables, chairs, rockers, dishes, antiques, vases, pictures, tools, books, and collectibles. You can also purchase items from the auction to take home. After the auction, the men and teen boys may participate in an organized Raccoon Hunt with Brother Swope and his professional dog. In addition there will be an exciting teen activity with Evangelist Tim Davenport. Saturday morning, after breakfast, there will be split sessions. Pastor David Bishop, Pastor Robert Ross, Pastor Pat Creed and I will be speaking at the Men's Leadership session, Mrs. Tammi Ross will be speaking at the Ladies session, and Evangelist Tim Davenport will be preaching to the teens. There will be an inspiring Children's dramatized Bible story with John Elwood, including games and prizes. Free time begins at 10:30 a.m.. The Game Room will be open and your children can enjoy our vintage play-ground. Anyone can compete in tetherball, horseshoes, and sand volleyball. For a minimal fee, there will be a rifle range and the Hang-Time Zipline for you to enjoy. Our hayrides will provide a fun fall-time for all. At noon, a delicious, Texas style B-B-Q Beef Brisket dinner with all the trimmings will be served. You don't want to miss it; just the meal alone is worth the trip! At 1:00 p.m., we will return to the Joe Boyd Tabernacle to hear Dr. Hiltibidal preach the closing message of the conference. The cost is $55.00 per person which includes meals and a one-night stay in the dorms. A family of three is $145.00, and additional family members are $30.00 each. Teen group rate of five or more is $25.00 per person and includes one free ride on the Zip-line! Swiss Village Motel accommodations are avail-able at a minimal cost.
