arerequiredtoberemovedpriortotherenovationprojectifthematerialsaretobeimpactedinsucha
mannerastorenderthemfriable. Thesurveyalsoindentifiesmaterialsrequiredtoberemovedpriortothe
renovationincludingRACMaircellinsulation,hardfittingsonaircelltankinsulation,andhardfittingsfor
fiberglasspipeinsulation. Materialsinalldisturbedareasaretoberemovedbylicensedhazardousmaterials
abatementcontractorspriortomainrenovationactivities.
Basement
Renovationstotheexistingbasementarenotincludedinthescopeofthepredesign,withthe
exceptionofworkrequiredforrevisionstomechanicalandasrequiredforcoderevisions. Because
theplasterceilingatthelowerlevelstorageroomwasremovedwithanearlierproject,theexposed
steeljoists
in
that
area
are
unprotected.
Renovation
will
include
anew

rated

at
