Guest Lecture on Human Resource Management by Mr. Raghav in July 2014

• Models of HR- Line and Staff Management• Recent trends in recruitment and selection.• ROI- return on investment
• Conducted at Roshini Nilaya, School of Social Work on August 2014
• Dr. Chowdhury was on the Board of Directors of TeleManagement Forum and has worked in leadership roles in Reliance, IBM and KPMG India.
• He is the author of the book “Rules of the Game”. • Focused exclusively on ways to be successful and set
challenging goals.• Development of team building attitudes and values.• Improve empathy, etiquette and communication skills.

• Dealt with how employees can be made to feel ‘engaged’ to their work.

• Events were segregated into industries like globalisation, fashion, media, marketing, sports, technology etc.
• The concepts were delivered in an innovative and creative manner.
Training Session by Mr. Ryan
• One day In-basket training session was conducted by Mr Ryan from AIMIT in January 2015.
• In-basket exercise is an important method of assessment of candidate’s ability to work under stressful situations.
• It is also a method of effectively finishing work tasks.
‘Game Changers’- workshop
• Workshop and seminar on modern trends in HRM by Mr Ronald Mendonca
• Key topics covered-Leadership, Communication, Team-Building and HR issues in real-life situations.
• Mr Ronald is a co-partner of Book World and a trainer for a number of Organizations like Bata, Christ college, AMITY, IBM etc.
