This pathway will enable you to advance your neurological rehabilitation practice. The pathophysiology of neurological conditions, their clinical assessment and management will be explored and you will apply knowledge and skills to your individual area. You will gain critical skills in using evidence, developing services and research and applying this to your area of neurological practice.
This pathway is applicable to all membersof the interprofessional team.
HIGHLIGHTS• This pathway allows you to work flexibly,
through combining short study blocks and online learning. You can choose modules aligned to your area of practice and CPD needs.
• You will be supported by a team with international and national research profiles in neurological rehabilitation, who will help you take the next step in your career.
• You can enhance your clinical skills in our Human Movement and Function Laboratory.
MODULES INCLUDE:• Neurological rehabilitation:
sensorimotor disorders.• Injection therapy (Botulinum Toxin).• Pathomechanics and rehabilitation of
gait and balance.• Rehabilitation cognition, perception and
behaviour.• Management of long-term conditions.
