Mac Startups is a 10-week summer program open to Macalester students. Working in teams of 2-3, students spend the summer using their creativity and super-powers totackle a problem they're passionate about solving.

This year’s cohort of 18 students has been working on 7 different ideas: Haystak, Polyglot Languages, RSVTea, Secret League, Savery Eats, Tukki, and Constellation MSP.

Other than working on their ideas, students engage with the innovator community in the Twin Cities by attending meetings, hosting events on campus, and holding workshops.Each team is paired with an alumni mentor who has expertise relevant to their project.
