School School is something, we must all embrace. Knowledge we need,
to seek out and chase.
Subjects and teaching styles, are plentiful and vary.
Just like the backpacks, we all need to carry.
Sports, clubs, and activities, at every single turn.
So much to do, study and learn.
To get the most from school, we should consistently attend.
Around each corner, there's always a friend.
Our favorite teachers, are friendly and kind.
Their passion and job, to expand every mind.
School is something, we must all embrace.
Just remember to learn, at your own pace.

CELLPHONEPOLICYASOFMARCH2015
ELECTRONICS POLICY/CELL PHONE USE
Cell phones/electronic devices may serve as an outstanding instructional tool and learning resource if used appropriately. We encourage students to use electronics and other 21st century devices to supplement instruction and learning. In order to preserve the teaching and learning environment, this document is to clarify the cell phone/electronic devices policy for Junior High School 52 (IS 52). Cell phones/electronic devices may only be used for educational purposes in the classroom setting permitted at the teacher’s discretion. Cell phones/electronic devices must be turned OFF before you enter any classroom, office, library, locker room, and / or lab. Once inside any of the aforementioned locations, students must store their cell phones/electronic device in a location that is not visible to the teacher or other students. If a cell phone/ electronic device rings, vibrates, or is used for any reason without teacher permission, or is visible anytime during class time or if you are caught using it on campus during class time, a staff member will confiscate the device. Refusal to surrender your phone when asked is considered defiance. Defiance may result in disciplinary consequences, including suspension. Parents will be contacted.
