Objective: Answer the following Essential Questions in a creative and professional project.


How did the Federalist and Democratic Republicans visions for the United States differ?

To what extent should the United States have become involved in world affairs? What did it mean to be an American in the early 1800’s?

Part I: How to make a FLIP CHART


1. Place three pieces of 12 x 18 inch construction paper in a stack with long edges aligned and short edges (ends) staggered about an inch.


2. Fold edges over to reveal the staggered spacing. Crease and staple along the top.
