Volunteer! Find volunteer opportunities based on your availability and interests! Sign up online or watch your PTA Post for specific volunteer opportunities throughout the year!

Safety TownAug. 2nd - Aug. 6th: 1 - 4 pm (entering Kindergarten), Pepper Pike Learning Center, Online registration starts on Feb. 8th. Visit orangerec.ce.eleyo.com

Valuable Kindergarten Readiness Experience: We teach children about all aspects of safety, including: fire safety, pedestrian safety, water safety, poison safety, bike safety, bus safety and more!

Engaging, child-friendly curriculum implemented in collaboration with the Pepper Pike Fire Dept., Orange Schools Transportation Dept., Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, Red Cross certified lifeguards, local Police Depts.

Opportunity to practice real-life skills such as getting on/off the school bus safely, school safety drills, using playground equipment safely, crossing the street and riding bikes with helmets.

Lions Club Extended Care (formerly Open Door)

We have several options and combinations available to meet the needs of community families.

★ Extended Care - Before School ProgramParents bring their child to the PPLC morning program. After having time for games and activities, children are picked up by school bus in time for class. Children may attend on regularly scheduled days or an occasional as needed basis if space allows.★ Extended Care - After School ProgramAt the end of the school day children in grades K - 5 are escorted by staff and transported by bus to PPLC. Children in aftercare may sign up for most activities which are offered on the Orange campus. ★ School’s Out Fun with Orange RecChildren can register for special days when school is not in session. Programs are from 9:00 - 3:00 Lions Club extended care can be added.
