What is AP Language and Composition?

I try to get a new grade in each week on Thursdays.

When can I help students?

…any morning, lunch, or after school.

Students just need to let me know

they are coming.

Our Main Goals

+ survey of American Literature

+preparing for May’s AP Exam

+preparing for SAT/ACT

Each day students start with a short reading check from the passage they read the night before. We also have a persuasive essay quick write to practice writing skills and for discussion.

Multiple Choice Mondays

Timed Writing Tuesdays

Rewriting Wednesdays

Thinking Thursdays

(Socratic Seminars)

Finishing Up Fridays

(Vocabulary & Review)

*Students have a passage to read daily and submit a CANVAS response. *Students should also be studying vocabulary for a short time each night. *The calendar is the best way to keep up with homework. (tinyurl.com/LCCDATES)
