Home School Learning Pack for Week Beginning 13.07.20 and 20.07.20 Dear Purple Class, Hello everyone! Here is your home learning pack for this week. This week in English we are looking at both narrative and poetry and in Maths, we are working on some excellent Problem Solving tasks, which should really challenge you! Check the activity details each day for where to start and what to do next. On the afternoon plan, I have put a selection of activities for our third Arts Week, which is on the theme of Summertime. There are some extra activities, also, to keep you going on 20 th and 21 st July, before we officially break up for Summer! Your main focus on these, is our class book, ‘Wolf Brother’ by Michelle Paver. It’s a wonderful story and I’m sure you’re going to enjoy reading it. You can also hear the chapters read to you,by Sir Ian Mckellan, beginning at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38LKySnG_Qg Wolf Brother is a 2004 young adult novel by British writer Michelle Paver. The first installment in Paver’s Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series, Wolf Brother is set in the Stone Age. It follows twelve-year-old Torak and his wolf-cub companion on their quest to fulfill the dying wish of Torak’s father. Remember that you can always return to activities from other weeks that you have enjoyed or that you didn’t get to finish. I am missing seeing your smiling faces in school each day but I know that you are busy doing lots of brilliant things at home. Keep trying your best and have a great Summer! Look after yourselves! Home School Learning Pack for Week Beginning 13.07.20 and 20.07.20

Dear Purple Class,

Hello everyone!

There are some extra activities, also, to keep you going on 20th and 21st July, before we officially break up for Summer! Your main focus on these, is our class book, ‘Wolf Brother’ by Michelle Paver. It’s a wonderful story and I’m sure you’re going to enjoy reading it. Wolf Brother is a 2004 young adult novel by British writer Michelle Paver. The first installment in Paver’s

Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series, Wolf Brother is set in the Stone Age. It follows twelve-year-old

Torak and his wolf-cub companion on their quest to fulfill the dying wish of Torak’s father.

Remember that you can always return to activities from other weeks that you have enjoyed or that you didn’t get to finish. I am missing seeing your smiling faces in school each day but I know that you are busy doing lots of brilliant things at home.

Keep trying your best and have a great Summer!
