Mr. Golphenee will show you everything you need to know to succeed in Photoshop. A whole quarter is dedicated to learning how to crop, edit, and change Photos any way you want to!

No Gum!!

Mr. golphenee has few rules but one of them is definitely no gum allowed in the classroom! With so many computers and desks there are just too many tempting places to stick your gum

InDesign!!InDesign is a lot of fun and you can make a lot of cool stuff like yearbook pages and posters!

SkywardSkyward is a program where the teachers can post your grades online and you can access them at home.

Mr. Golphenee is usually really good about posting your grades on skyward right away for you to see them

The best thing about skyward is that if you are unhappy with your grade you can look specifically at what assignment are missing and what assignments you did poorly on

Blogging!!Edublogs is a website we use in

publications to blog all of our stuff onto the internet so that mr. golphenee can grade our stuff straight from the internet, and we get experience with blogging

The Bathroom rule!In Mr. G’s class you can only have 3 bathroom breaks Per quarter (9 weeks)

AudacityThe best thing about audacity is that its not just typing and computer work, there’s audio recordings too!

You can actually record someone singing a song and edit it on audacity. Or you could Record someone reading/telling a story. You can even take pieces of all of your favorite songs and make a medley

Tests

The number one questions that kids ask a teacher on the first day is “will we have a lot of tests?” The cool thing about publications is that there are not many tests at all. We took one test on our Photoshop skills and one on our InDesign skills.

The tests in this class are super easy! We only test on things that we have practiced many times and definitely know how to do
