Installation Guide

1. Select required mounting position.

2. Temporarily install the antenna and check the SWR.

This can be fine-tuned by adjusting the mounting position

and/or cutting the PCB tracks at each end.

3. If SWR is satisfactory then fix the antenna to the surface

with the double-sided tape provided.

4. Best polarisation is vertical with the feed cable extending at

least 200mm away from the antenna at right angles.

5. If the cable cannot extend 200mm it should run to the left

of the antenna viewed from the cable side.

• The Internal Mercury antenna combines the two most commonly

required mobile wireless antennas into one device.

• Its small size and low profile allow for stealth (hidden) mounting

within the dashboard, rear shelf, or below any other non-metallic

horizontal surface.

• The Mercury is ideal for mobile asset tracking applications,

such as rental car fleets. Its cellular antenna offers performance

consistent with - or better - than common whip antennas, but

in a "stealth" installation.

The Mini Roof is a roof mount combined wideband GSM/GPS unit

perfect for mounting on both cars and commercial vehicles.

Due to its compact dimensions it is being marketed at the leased

car market where in the past only glass mount antennas were

permitted within the terms of the lease agreements.

The footprint and height lend to the discreet nature of the product.

On top of this, the first class manufacturing standards mean that

Multiband highly recommend this antenna.

The new range of film decal antennas is tuned

for use on the Orbcomm Satellite network.

Integrated with a GPS antenna the films will

be typically used for vehicle and asset

tracking. They represent a break-through

for companies offering tracking and

monitoring using Orbcomm as previously long

whips and large panel antennas detracted

from the overall product offering.

Applications

• Remote monitoring of mobile heavy

equipment & assets

• Slim Tapered Design

Type CATC is a medium gain collinear antenna

suitable for masthead mounting or stand-off

mounting from a tower or a mast. A high degree

of decoupling from the support structure and the

feeder cable is achieved without the use of

groundplane rods. The radiating elements

are encapsulated in low-loss polyurethane foam

which bonds them firmly to the inside of the

radiator housing thus ensuring good mechanical

stability. The antenna is fitted with a short length

of URM 67 coaxial cable terminated in a type N

series plug.
