All manufacturers represented by Multiband Antennas Limited are ISO9000 certified. This certification must be up to date and copies of the certificate can be made available on request. Customers may, on request audit the factories in line with their own quality proce-dures.
All products must have an individual design file which can be audited on-site with the manufacturers Multiband Antennas Limitedmust prepare a corresponding datasheet for every antenna supplied. The datasheets must contain adequate mechanical and electrical data. All mobile antennas must have VSWR charts and all base station antennas must have E & H charts and GAINcharts in addition to the VSWR charts. Additional data from environmental testing - vibration, shock, salt water etc. may be included.Multiband guarantee that the typical VSWR value for mobiles is <=2:1 and <2:1 for base stations across the band.
During manufacture, all antennas are VSWR tested. In the case of a multiband-type antenna, each band must be VSWR tested. In the case where one of the bands is GPS, the manufacturer must have a suitable quality system for handling and testing. The testing procedure must ensure that the GPS antenna is connected to a GPS receiver and at least 4 satellites are viewable. Any changes in any of the components used in the manufacture of the GPS antenna must be made known to Multiband Antennas Limited.
Range tests are carried out from time to time on antennas using Low Power Radio bands. Typically these are field tests and subject to variation depending on the weather and test site. The data recorded is the distance from the transmitter, the number of data pack-ets achieved, the TxRx power and the basic weather. Range test data is kept on file and is available on request.

Installation Guide
1. Select required mounting position.
2. Temporarily install the antenna and check the SWR.
This can be fine-tuned by adjusting the mounting position
and/or cutting the PCB tracks at each end.
3. If SWR is satisfactory then fix the antenna to the surface
with the double-sided tape provided.
4. Best polarisation is vertical with the feed cable extending at
least 200mm away from the antenna at right angles.
5. If the cable cannot extend 200mm it should run to the left
of the antenna viewed from the cable side.

Feature
• The Internal Mercury antenna combines the two most commonly
required mobile wireless antennas into one device.
• Its small size and low profile allow for stealth (hidden) mounting
within the dashboard, rear shelf, or below any other non-metallic
horizontal surface.
• The Mercury is ideal for mobile asset tracking applications,
such as rental car fleets. Its cellular antenna offers performance
consistent with - or better - than common whip antennas, but
in a "stealth" installation.

The Mini Roof is a roof mount combined wideband GSM/GPS unit
perfect for mounting on both cars and commercial vehicles.
Due to its compact dimensions it is being marketed at the leased
car market where in the past only glass mount antennas were
permitted within the terms of the lease agreements.
The footprint and height lend to the discreet nature of the product.
On top of this, the first class manufacturing standards mean that
Multiband highly recommend this antenna.

The new range of film decal antennas is tuned
for use on the Orbcomm Satellite network.
Integrated with a GPS antenna the films will
be typically used for vehicle and asset
tracking. They represent a break-through
for companies offering tracking and
monitoring using Orbcomm as previously long
whips and large panel antennas detracted
from the overall product offering.
Applications
• Remote monitoring of mobile heavy
equipment & assets
• Logistical tracking of trucks, trailers & vans
• Covert vehicle tracking for security purposes
Installation
Peel back the backing surface and apply
to a clean non-metallic surface. Electrical
contact with the film is made using the
adhesive connector-cable – see diagram.
Advantages
• Clear adhesive film
• Very discreet
• Quick to install
• High performance radiator
• No visible whip to vandalise

CATC G3/420
3 dB Gain
• Slim Tapered Design
• Rugged Glass Fibre Protection
• Integral Mounting
• Digital PMR Applications
Type CATC is a medium gain collinear antenna
suitable for masthead mounting or stand-off
mounting from a tower or a mast. A high degree
of decoupling from the support structure and the
feeder cable is achieved without the use of
groundplane rods. The radiating elements
are encapsulated in low-loss polyurethane foam
which bonds them firmly to the inside of the
radiator housing thus ensuring good mechanical
stability. The antenna is fitted with a short length
of URM 67 coaxial cable terminated in a type N
series plug.
