childhood neighbourhood. My

rest of my life with her.

How did the idea of using apick-up truck in your proposalcome about?

The proposal idea came aboutbecause I wanted to do somethingdifferent. You always see peopleproposing with sports cars andlarge luxury sedans, so I thought apick-up truck would be different.

The Isuzu D-Max Vehicrosscaught my attention and when Ishared my idea with my goodfriends, they liked it.

your lives?We drove the truck to Ipoh for

the proposal. On the way back, Hinand I decided that we wanted tobuy this truck from my friendSuresh as our first joint familyvehicle.

The proposal from Hinsperspective:Did you think he was going topropose?

Yes, I already knew andsuspected, but I was not preparedto see the proposal happen on thatday as I thought we were just going

to meet friends in Ipoh.

Were you surprised by theproposal?

I was shocked. When we weresitting and having dinner outsidethe restaurant, Choos good friendSuresh organised his friends inIpoh to drive into the restaurantcompound in their D-Max andpretend that they were kidnappingChoo. I was petrified and myfriends held me back as I watchedthe kidnappers take Choo away.

But then banners proclaiming

Natalie Will You Marry Me cameup from behind the trucks. Theother restaurant customers turnedout to be musicians and dancerswho were part of the proposalplan.

Would you recommend the ideaof using the pick-up truck in amarriage proposal to yourfriends? What is the bestlocation to propose if using one?

Yes, I would as it is memorableand unique. The best location I canthink of is Tadom Hill in Banting infront of the lake or Janda Baik nextto the stream.
