MOTOMAN Arcsystem

MOTOMAN Arcsystem welding cells are designed to

deliver cost effi cient, reliable and high performance arc

welding operation. They are based on a modular system

of standard components that can meet the requirements

of the general and automotive industry using a minimum

of fl oor space.

The basic cell confi guration consists of one or two robots

and a positioner from our wide range of standard posi-

tioners. Choose between safety fencing or sheet metal

guards, sliding doors or roller gates and welding equip-

ment from MOTOMAN or other world leading brands.

The MOTOMAN Arcsystems are built to a global standard

that delivers savings in both time and money.

With all the optional equipment to choose from, it is easy

to customize an Arcsystem to suit your particular needs,

a customization that is more cost effective than a custom

designed welding cell.

When built on a platform, the Arcsystem is easy to move

and relocate somewhere else on the factory fl oor with a

forklift truck or a crane. The holes for the forklift and the

lifting eye bolts are already in place and easy to use.

MotoVisual is a user friendly three dimensional simulation

software designed to support project engineering. Simply

drag and drop the ready made MOTOMAN products into

place, check fl oor utilization, simulate production work

fl ow, and prepare animations of the robot cell that are

small enough to be sent by email for review.

Easy to operateAn optional operator panel makes it possible start and stop

robot jobs or control the fi xtures when loading or unloading.

Many more functions can be added to facilitate the opera-

tion and maintenance of the welding cell. Available with a

touch screen size of either 7” or 11”.

Easy accessThe operator has easy access to the interior of

the cell through one or two interlocked service

doors, or sliding doors. An automatic sliding

door between two stations means additional

safety for human operators.

Space saving roller doorsThe platform based arc welding systems with high speed

automatic roller doors means increased safety and reduced

cycle times. Less fl oor space is needed, and the operator has

easy access to the fi xtures when loading/unloading.

Simply lift, move and installThe Arcsystem on a platform is easy to

move and install without reprogramming.
