Motivation
The definition of motivation: To give reason,
incentive, enthusiasm, or interest that causes a specific action or certain behavior.
Types of motivation
• Intrinsic
• Extrinsic
• -Tangible
• -Intangible
Intrinsic Motivation
Intrinsic motivation is internal. It occurs when people are
compelled to do something out of pleasure, importance, or
desire.

Extrinsic Motivation
Extrinsic motivation occurs when external
factors compel the person to do something.
I must beat him this year !
When extrinsically motivated you are often rewarded either tangibly or intangibly....
Tangible is when you are motivated by a reward such as a trophy or a medal
or a lollipop....
Intangible is when you are motivated by non-objects such as praise or
encouragement...
