The structure of urban edges create large per captia impacts on water resources. Using the open spaces unique to suburban environs, residents can individually address this development obstacle by utilizing small scale Low Impact Development (LID) technology. The Modular Onsite Stormwater management System (MOSS) is one of these technologies. Part cistern, part planter, and part drainage pipe, MOSS allows individuals to apply limited resources to a variety of different needs and a limitless number of settings.
