It is the capital of the Russian Federation. It was founded in 1147 by Prince Yuri Dolgoruky. Now it’s a modern city. It is one of the biggest cities in Europe. A river runs through the centre of it. This wonderful Russian city is famous for its beautiful places of interest. There are more than 80 museums, 10 large stadiums, and 40 theatres. Everyone knows Red Square and the Kremlin, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Pushkin Museum and the Bolshoi Theatre. It’s the city at the very heart of Russia!
