We are needing candy-filled plastic eggs for our egg hunt on
Wednesday, March 28th at 6:00 pm. You can drop off your donation in the basket near Ashley Stuart’s office.
The Church office will be closed on Friday, March 30th and Monday,
April 2nd for Easter. The Women’s Ministry is hosting “Ladies Game Night” on May 4,
2018 at 6:00 in the FLB. The cost is $5.00. All money collected will go toward the Mexico Mission Trip in June. Please sign the bulletin board in the hall if you plan to attend. Let’s enjoy a night of fun and fellowship!

Like many of you, I can testify that some songs certainly speak more clearly to me than others! In fact, you probably have one or more favor-ites of your own! This is so true of the song our Adult Choir will share in worship this Sunday morning . . . BEHOLD THE LAMB! Yes, it is always about the words, and more importantly, the spiritual meaning of the words! However, I do love the beautiful and powerful music written for these words . . . and I pray you will enjoy it as we share it with you. Join with us as we BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD!
THE MUSIC MAKERS AND YOUNG MUSICIANS The Music Makers and Young Musicians (Grades 1-6) will join with the Adult Choir in singing a medley of songs proclaiming the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Sunday morning, April 1st, as we join together to cele-brate EASTER! Thank you to Mrs. Liz Hudson, Ms. Mary Beth Thomas, and all of our Children’s Choir leaders for their diligence in preparing the children to sing!

From Our Pastor…
We have come to Holy Week - the week when we think about Jesus’ death and resurrection from Palm Sunday to Maundy Thursday to Good Friday to Resurrection Morning! But while we are celebrating the grace of God and the salvation we have through Jesus, there is also other significant news: The United States is the third largest mission field in the world. "North America is the only continent in the world where the church
is not growing." On any given Sunday, only 20% of Mississippians are in church
anywhere. God has called us to make disciples of the nations. We obviously need to start with our own nation. He has called us to be missionaries "as we are going" to our workplaces, our schools, and throughout our communities. Not only has God called us to be disciplemaking missionaries, not only has He given us His Holy Spirit to help us accomplish the task, He has also blessed us in so many ways as individuals and as a church family to succeed in this calling. Have you wondered why God has blessed you with so much? Why he has blessed you so abundantly with health, wealth, time, and/or energy? It is so that you will spend yourself intentionally for Him; so that you will pour out the rich gifts he has given to you to help others be blessed by Him; and so that you will live "sent" – a "sent" life of going out with intention for Him. God has called you to live with the intention to make a difference for His kingdom in your family, in your workplace, in this community, and among the nations of the world. Will you live on-mission for Him? What will you say "No" to, in order to say "Yes" to God and be more obedient to Him? How will you intentionally lay your "yes" on the altar and be a good steward of what He has given to you to expand His Kingdom? Providing and supporting new churches in new areas that need a solid witness to the gospel truth of Jesus is so necessary in our nation! One way you can help expand His Kingdom in our nation is through your support of the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions. Please consider giving (above your tithe!) to help support the mission work of our North American Mission Board.
