FYR-Glass is a proprietary custom-blended

helmets. Our testing shows that FYR-Glass

helmets are 39% more resistant to impact

penetration than conventional fiberglass

helmets with or without impact caps.

FYR-Glass allows design options not

available with other materials, resulting in a

helmet that is lighter and better fitting.

engineered Thermo-FYR high-temperature

thermo-plastic. This material resists high

heat and impact penetration, providing

protection in demanding situations:

technical rescue/recovery, utility incidents,

and wildland fire fighting.

standing performance at an economical

price. Our headband ratchet assembly

provides 4-way depth adjustment front and
