This playful font is a dual action font, existing in both the positive and negative form.

Mountainsea | 2011Oulipo Poetry Book

Ouvroir de littérature potentielle (Oulipo) is constrained writing. This constrained poem uses a syllable matching constraint. The original poem entitled “Mountain” was translated into “Sea”, which was written with closely matching words containing the same syllable count. When read together, a new poem is formed and has double the amount of syllables as the first.

The book allows the viewer to read the poetry as three separate potential poems.

“How To Bag A Friend” is a conceptual play on the process of befriendment, both in actual and virtual forms. The two books serve as field guides for achieving friendship in parodistic fashion.

“Letters From the Public Sphere: The Alphabet Book, documents neon signage within our daily landscape. We have grown accustom to these letters and subconsciously view them as separate images. Even from a fragment of a letter, we can visualize the entire word.

A collaborative project to establish a website for the School of Art and Design at Western Carolina Univer-sity.The site features a student gallery, curricula and academic information on undergraduates and graduate programs at WCU. The purpose of the site is to portray the schools image in a simple, organized way.
