Astragal BarDesigned to replicate traditional timber windows, the Vevo Georgian astragal bar design goes one step further than our Georgian window.As well as incorporating spacer bars between the glass, bars are also raised from the glass to give the window an authentic cottage style look, making the astragal bar extremely popular, particularly with owners of older-style properties.

Astragal bar is available in a range of colours. The standard size bar is 25mm and our new 50mm bar looks stunning when used as a false transom or a door mullion.

Leaded GlassTraditional leaded windows are an important architectural feature of many houses and very much part of the English Heritage. While a lead design serves no practical purpose today leaded windows can enhance a property of any age with character and charm. A wide choice of leaded window designs are available to closely match your existing windows. There are also two different colours of lead; silver and antique which provides a more aged look. Our leaded windows offer easier cleaning and maintenance as well as the enhanced insulating qualities of modern uPVC windows.

Decorative GlassYou don’t have to lose the character of your property when you update your windows. With a wide range of choice of decorative designs or even a bespoke design, your house will retain it’s character whilst gaining all the benefits of new windows.

Equal Sight LinesA more traditional look is achieved by designing your windows with equal width frames ensuring a balanced and equal sight line across all glass units. This applies both horizontally and vertically.

Unequal Sight LinesHaving opening sashes in certain areas of the window creates an unequal glass sight line between the sash and the fixed light.

CasementWindows

The casement window offers total versatility and is still the most popular choice available today. The traditional British window style offers slim sight lines to allow in maximum light.

You can say goodbye to draughty windows as the patented double-action bubble gasket gives a continuous seal - even in the corners.

Available in sculptured (curved) or chamfered (bevelled) 70mm profiles (frames), with either 28mm double or 40mm triple glazing. Vevo casement windows are normally internally beaded, but can be externally beaded.

To add character you can add astragal bars or Georgian bars. You can also choose from a wide choice of colours, finishes, hardware and glazing options.

Ideal for high-rise as well as low-rise applications, the tilt and turn window offers a greater scope for larger opening lights than a traditional casement window and the larger panes of glass help its thermal performance.

Perfect as a fire escape or simply to let in more fresh air, most windows are supplied as ‘tilt before turn’ to make them safer and avoid the risk of children opening them fully in the first instance.

The option of aluminium provides additional strength and durability.Thermally efficient they contribute to a reduction in heat loss and the cost of heating bills, providing warmth and comfort. The rigidity of aluminium sections means that these bi-folds show more glass and less frame than the uPVC option. In a white finish, they blend in seamlessly with a uPVC conservatory. The strength and durability of aluminium also make them the perfect choice for commercial applications such as restaurants, cafés and bars.

Colour OptionsThe standard finish for an aluminium bi-fold is white (powder coated) and guaranteed for up to 25 years, (although can be scratched if mishandled). Alternatively, any RAL colour is possible. You could choose one colour inside and another outside. To make a real feature of your bi-fold there is also a wide choice of metallic finishes. For the final touch, colour coded handles, hinges and roller carriers are available.

Lean-ToThe Lean-To conservatory is the simplest of conservatories in terms of design and its clean lines help it maintain a contemporary look which still makes it a popular choice of conservatory style today. Whether your lean-to conservatory is traditional or contemporary, the style is perfect for properties that have restricted space under the eaves, like a bungalow, or have an area that’s too awkward to accommodate a conservatory. This is because the pitch of the roof on lean-to conservatories can vary – so a shallow pitch can fit under a low bungalow roof and a steeper one would be ideal for a terraced house.

OrangeryOrangeries, like conservatory styles, are both traditional and contemporary, falling somewhere between conservatory and traditional extension styles.With their brick pillars, orangeries offer more privacy than conservatory styles and the interior height provides a breathtaking focal point through which light floods in to your home. GeorgianThe Georgian conservatory style is characterised by lightness and airiness, with more subdued lines than the ornate Victorian’.The Georgian conservatory style features a flat front and a square or rectangular symmetrical shape. This makes the Georgian conservatory a really handy shape for laying out furniture and plants, with no wasted space.

The Georgian conservatory typically has a high, sloping roof style that gives a spectacular vaulted effect. Your conservatory floods with light, making it a bright, airy and uplifting room.

LanternFor those with the right budget, a lantern conservatory style makes a fantastic statement of grandeur and elegance.Lantern conservatories feature a two-tier conservatory roof on different levels, creating a ‘wedding-cake’ effect. The gable roof provides a grand and stunning impact both inside and out, and the front of the gable-end conservatory can have a number of designs including a ‘sunburst’ effect.

P-ShapedP-Shape - combining a mix of lean-to and Victorian styles, a ‘P-shape’ is the ideal choice for a larger conservatory.Ideal for larger, detached properties, this style combines a lean-to conservatory with a Victorian conservatory, which can be either three-faceted or five-faceted. When you combine a lean-to with a Georgian-style conservatory, this is called an L-shaped style.

The P-shape style is commonly used as two separate living areas. Modern families often use the longer part of the P-shape style as a lounge or dining area, with the rounded part being used as a children’s play area.
