Floater analysis evaluations – phase 1Aim: 3rd party evaluation of different floating wind turbine concepts with respect to suitability for the locations they are to be installed.

Typical input:• Number of floaters to be evaluated – floater geometry and data to be supplied by the suppliers of

floating wind mills• Number of locations to be evaluated• Environmental conditions

Anchors and subsea structuresAnchor selection depends on the seabed conditions, typically these are eavaluated by Norwegian companies such as:• NGI – Norwegian Geotechnical Institute• Reinertsen – Norwegian engineering company• MulticonsultDepending on scope and capacity, this task will be subcontracted.

Anchors are typically divided into the following types depending on the soil seabed conditions:• Gravity base• Suction anchor• Drag anchor• Pile anchor
