Hello everyone! Thanks for buy Moonzine in this Valentines special number. This

magazine is made by only 5 five people : Andrea Alcantarilla, our expert about Valencia

city; Abby Dombrowsky, expert in fashion; Irene Domingo, our best journalist; Maria

Medina, who will open your eyes with her curiosities; and Lorena Tortosa, our expert

on having fun.

Moonzine is a magazine about the days we are living. You can find in our pages advices

about style, leisure time, makeup, the best shops in our town, the best bakeries,

curiosities, etc. Is all you need for having a great weekend in Valencia! And, also, in this

Valentines special number, you’ll find the best songs of love, if you’re in love, and the

best songs for the disenchanted ones.

Anyone can read this magazine! It’s never late enough to know more about

everything! Maybe you will enjoy it more if you’re a teenage girl, but, hey, men can

learn a lot too.

Our magazine contains a lot of different sections: Fashion ones, makeup advices,

history of sports, essays, recommendations, and a section about curiosities and, like

we said before, an special section about music for your Valentine’s Day!

We warn that we usually give our opinion in the articles, especially in the essays. So, if

you’re looking a scientific magazine with factual texts, you are not in the good way.

Valencia has got a fantastic gastronomy because in this region it is typical the

Mediterranean diet.

In Valencia we can found varied food stores. For the gluttonous people there are

different patisseries and chocolate shops. The more important patisseries of Valencia

are the ones in the streets Don Juan de Austria and PANPAN, since the bread and the

cakes are exquisite.

Secondly, the chocolate shops are very expensive because the quality is very good,

some examples of the chocolate shops are the Chocolateria Valor and Xocoa, but my

favorite is Cacao Sampaka, in this shop the chocolate is the best from all over the

world.

However, to the people who prefer their food salty, they can find a lot of restaurants

and bar. In all these places the main course is the typical Paella. I can’t say where the

best Paella is made, due to the fact that every restaurant makes a fantastic dish.

To sum up, Valencia has got the best vegetables, fruits, chocolate, cakes and breads of

the world, for these reasons the gastronomy of Valencia is very important.

Valencia is one of the most important communities for the tourists, because it has

many places where the can have fun.

First of all, in Valencia the children can go to different places, for example, they can go

to Gulliver, this is an enormous toboggan made of different toboggans that has the

form of the character of the tale.

Secondly, the young people can go to various discos and pubs. In Valencia the areas of

Cánovas and Aragón are very famous, since in these areas there are many pubs.

In Fallas, which it is the famous typical party of the community, the young people

enjoy the street festival.

Furthermore, the people that do not like to party and prefer to stay relaxed, they can find for

instance, cafés with music in life or cafés were you can read books and speak of them. In

addition, you can go to the theater but it is expensive, for this reason, I prefer to go to the little

cafés where the actors act. Besides, Valencia has many interesting museums and monuments.

In conclusion, Valencia has many entertainment venues; due to it everyone can have a

place to have fun.

This winter the best for being warm is a HAT! Yes, yes... A HAT! Why? Because we

lost heat for the head, this past of the body must be shelter in the coldest days of

winter, and that's wonderful news, because you are going to be the cutest of your

friends with these hats...

If you are an animal-addicted….

A cute hat with ears of cats, dogs or bears, there are so many animals. This is pure

love with an soft wool and amazing colors to wear with a lot of clothes! You can find

this in shops like: Oisho, H&M or Pull and Bear, situated on the center of Valencia.

If you want something english:The bowler hat, is a hard felt hat with a rounded crown

originally created in 1849 for Edward Coke. This old-fashioned hat, now is the coolest hat to

Nowadays people think that do a beautiful photography is take the photo on the

mirror of the bathroom, but... ¡NO! Here you can find some tips to do a good photo

anywhere.

One of the most important think in the photography is the composition; there are

some secrets of this art:

The most important is the rule of thirds, an image should be divided into nine equal

parts by two equally-spaced horizontal lines and two equally-spaced vertical lines, and

the important elements in the photo should be placed along these lines or their

intersections. But, your photo don't have to have a lot of elements, the simplest things

are the most beautiful.

Another secret of the beauty is the golden ratio, since the Renaissance, many artists

and architects have proportioned their works to approximate the golden ratio

believing this proportion to be aesthetically pleasing.

When you take a photo, I recommend you to shoot only 3 objects or persons, this are

going to give more force to the photo than more people in the picture. For some

reason not explained, people like the number 3.

The lines are very important in visual arts. That gives us shapes and contours. With

lines the viewer's look from one part of the picture to another.

Finally, there are elements that can help to frame the focus of the photo. Some of

these elements can complete covering a part of the photo, such as doors, windows and

bridges. Anything that "locks" the focus will allow us to frame the photo, make the

attention to the desired item.

The vibrant colours we have seen for the summer 2011 have invaded

several winter collections, but in more subtle colours.

Wool has been one of the materials most used for dresses combining it

with luxurious textures like satin. Designers such as Alber Elbaz for Lanvin,

Stella McCartney and Isabel Marant presented dresses in knitted

fabrics and in short versions but in different shapes, body, with volume or

The pencil skirt was one of the greatest additions to the 2012 autumn-

winter catwalks. This garment was made in various materials and down to

the knees and is one of the most popular garments of the season. It is very

successful because of its figure hugging line.

Welcome to Valencia CF, one of the best Spanish football club and one of the most successful

and biggest in the world, in terms of number of associates. Valencia CF was founded in 1919,

ans is actually the third most supported football team in Spain, behind the ‘’immortal clubs’’:

Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

Valencia CF moved into Mestalla (the stadium) in 1923

to the present, although recently people are working

on the new stadium ‘’Nou Mestalla’’.

In recent years the club has sold some of their best

players. For example Juan Mata (Chelsea FC, €30

million), David Villa (FC Barcelona, 40 €million) David

Silva (Manchester City FC, €33 million). But now,

Valencia CF has really good football players like

Roberto Soldado, Jonas, Banega, Rami, etc. As well as

their coach: Unai Emery.

Nowadays Valencia CF is in the third position in the

Liga’s classification, and everybody know that it’s too

difficult win that competition, because Barcelona and

Real Madrid are favorites to win it. Nevertheless, now

Valencia CF is competing for two other trophies: Copa

del Rey and Europa League.

Having finished third in La Liga the last two years, and having sold their biggest players during

that time as well, the new Valencia CF will attempt to hold the third place, and also improve

their results. I hope this football club wins some trophy this season. So good luck and, of

course, AMUNT VALENCIA!

In this moment, there are many important books for me in my private

library. I love read very book, for this reason, I am going to tell you about

the books that I like the most and I hope you enjoy.

On the one hand, my favorite books are the trilogy of the Cemetery of

forgotten books, because the author, Carlos Ruiz Zafrón, is my favorite

writer. In his works, he writes many stories and in all of them the love, the

mystery and the friendship are present.

On the other hand, I loved the book Chronicle

of a Death Foretold, and his author is García

Márquez. In this book the author tells a very

curious and surprising story. Furthermore, in

the first lines of the book García Márquez tells

the end of the book.

Oasis - (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? (1995) The album is the band's most enduring commercial success. What's the Story (Morning

Personally, I like this album as well as their first CD: Definitely Maybe. Both are really

starring Ben Barnes. The story tells the transformation of young

Dorian Gray in a monster whitout soul after meeting Henry Wotton. Phisically, Dorian is the

most perfect man but only you can see the horror of his soul in the picture painted by Bassil

Hallward. What's the mistery of this picture?

based on the novel of the same name by J. K. Rowling. This is the 3th film of the Harry's story,

a young boy who lives a lot of adventures with his friends Ron and Hermione, in this part Harry

knows Sirius, a man related with the death of his parents. What's happening with Harry?

8. Big fish is an American fantasy adventure film based on the novel by Daniel Wallace. The

film was directed by Tim Burton and starring Albert Finney and Ewan McGregor. In this film

you can find the fantastic story of Edward Bloom's life! With all the mystery and fantasy of Tim

Burton.

9. Alice in wonderland is an American fantasy adventure film

directed by Tim Burton and starring Mia Wasikowska and Johnny

Depp. The film is inspired by Lewis Carroll's novel “Alice's

Adventures in Wonderland”. This popular story, tells the return of

Alice to wonderland with 19 years old. But, wonderland is too

different this time, and the most important, is Alice the true Alice?

10. Nightmare before Christmas is an American musical fantasy

film directed by Henry Selick and produced/co-written by Tim

Burton. The story tells the life in Halloween town, and his king Jack

Skellington. Jack feels sad, and a night he found out Christmas, and

he starts a new plan for Halloween town.


Makeup at night:

Today, I’m going to present a makeup for night wear, it is a

makeup which lasts and is perfect for a night out.

Firstly, we have started with the base, we have used the super

stay 24hous. Secondly, we have illuminated the face with

mineral Pure Cover which is a corrector with mineral particles

made by Maybelline. After, with a bronzing powder, we have

worked all the contours in order to help illuminate all the features.

Later, we used for the eyes a chocolate brown eye shadow, which

is applied to the eyelid and diffused down to the line of the

eyelashes, and then to all the contour of the eye.

Then using a black eye shadow, we insisted more on the lower and

top line of the eyelashes in order to give more depth to

the eye. Then with a black pencil, we painted the inside of the

eye, which we then have also diffused outwards. We have finished by adding false

eyelashes which greatly enhance our eyelashes. The final result is a smoky eye, an eye

which draws everybody attention.

After this, we have followed up with a blush, a

blush pink colour applied as used in the eighty, to the

middle of the cheek apoing up to the temples and

has also been spread to the eyelids to complete the

picture. Finally we painted the lips with a pink colour.

The result of makeup night is a face very hard but

never loses sweetness because all colors

are very feminine.

Today we hear much of effort, of the need to strive to achieve something in life.

However, society is selling us the idea contrary to the need for effort. Why is this

happening?

It seems that it is currently in heads of less than twenty-five years old people the idea

that it is possible to live comfortably without work, and they won't be very misleading.

It is possible to have a "good life" without moving a finger, you will always have close

family who will make you the lunch, wash your clothes and make you the 'healthy cure'

if you get some scratch. This is how we have been educated, and that is how,

hopelessly, we’re going to educate children because we don’t have any other model of

education.

What will happen then? Then, little by little, and without being able to avoid this, the

value of the effort will be lost, it will be an underrated value, redundancy including,

non-existent, I mean. Today, already is lost, as we can see in the examples with which

every day television bombarded us: tasteless programs where roosters and hens shout

and fight against each other, discussing the privacy of another person, what happens

then? Children, pre-teens, teenagers, students and future mothers and fathers take an

example to have a better life being an ignoramus who have no less shame and shows

his life on TV, all for a few good wads of banknotes.

Most of the idols that drive current masses have reached where they are without

working in any way, they get there simply having a little straight face and taking

advantage of any situation. And that makes us believe that we don’t have to be

sufficiently skilled to be someone important, without giving something in return.

For me the situation is clear: The value of effort is learned, you don’t born with it, and

it is the duty of parents, tutors and society in general, make the future generations

that will habit our planet, have minimum values, because, otherwise, it will lose one of

the greatest achievements of the men: intelligence.

We are going to start with Andrea Alcantarilla’s favourite

song! The hotter one (the song, I mean):

My favorite song is called Cremalleras by a group called

Sidecars. I love this song because it has very provocative and

sensual letters.

I bought the album (because I like Sidecars’ songs) on Madrid’s

Gran Via, on a trip I made with my mother during Christmas.

The first time I heard the song Cremalleras was at my cousin's house the day after

returning from Madrid.

The song is very sensual for me, as it tells the story of love/ hate. The singer has a

unique voice and the sound of the guitars and bass is very good.

My favorite part of the song I mentioned above is the beginning, when he sings

something along the lines:

"Today I will not bother you, one minute. I will without protest, if you are guilty I again

if I am not clever, perhaps I'm bored... “

In conclusion, I chose this song because it has a rocker style, the lyrics are very striking

and the instruments sound great. This song is my favorite because it reminds me of

some situations in my life.

Now it’s the time for Abby Dombrowsy favourite song:

Famous last words by My Chemical Romance

My favorite song ever is famous last words, the last

song of “the black parade”, the third CD of the New

Jersey band “My chemical romance”. This song is

very important to me because it was the first song

that I’ve listened of this group.

I really love the voice of Gerard Way, the singer, and all the energy of the song,

but especially, the thing I love the most of this song is were says: “I'm not afraid

to keep on living, I’m not afraid to walk this world alone” because it means you

shouldn't have fear to live and you must fight for it.

This song is the end of the story of the patient, a character who tells you in each

song his different thoughts and experiences when he are dying of cancer, in

famous last words he is almost dead, and finally, he is not afraid.

Let’s go with Irene Domingo’s favourite song!

Basket case by Green Day

The song I have chosen is Basket Case, by my favorite

rock band, Green Day. It was released as the third single

from their third album, Dookie. This album became a

worldwide commercial success; in fact, Dookie is the

Green Day’s most sold album, followed by American

Idiot.

Basket Case was written by Billie Joe, the

vocalist. This song is about madness,

specifically about someone who realizes

he is going crazy and can’t stop it. In fact,

the music video takes place in a mental

institution from California, at the request

of the band members.

I like Billie Joe’s voice as well as the

guitar, the drums, the bass and the lyrics. Basket case isn’t my favorite Green Day

song, but I have chosen this one because this song will always remember as the

first Green Day song I listened to. And for this reason is special to me.

favourite song:

Raise your glass by Pink.

I can’t choose one song like my favourite one, but for

this project I’ve chosen ‘Raise your glass’ from the

singer Pink. I like all the songs that are from Pink.

She has been singing since children, but she became

famous with her song ‘Stupid girls’. I like this singer

because is a very strong girl, nonconformist, she says

what the thinks and she’s very feminist.

When she was young she was in drugs, and she used the music to keep out of them.

That is why her songs usually talk about overcome your problems.

I have chosen this song because, when I hear it, I feel like if I could do everything I

want. The thing I like the most of ‘Raise your glass’ is the lyrics. It’s full of energy and

reviews. It’s a critical against the society models. The lyrics say: “If you’re treated like a

full, you can choose to let it go. You can always party on your own”. I also like the

video clip of this song. In the video, it appears scenes but with the characters rolling

changed, like a bull killing a bullfighter and cows drinking women’s milk.

From the first time I heard it, this song became in one of my favourite songs.

My favorite song is bleeding love by Leona

Lewis. The first time I Heard this song was in

my home when one night my brother put a

video of the serie “sin tetas no hay paraíso”

and I loved it because I was able to identify with this song. Bleeding love is a

love song where the girl is in love and she is suffering because of it.

Furthermore, I like this song which expresses feelings that I felt and also I like

the singer Leona Lewis because she has a beautiful voice. In this song in

particular, the phrase I like most is “but nothings greater than the rush that

comes with your embrace”.

With respect to the success

of this song, I can say that it

was a played all over the

world, where it became

the musical lists, as Unit

“I: Good morning Mr. Punset and welcome to my TV program: Gossip Scientist. Do

you believe the Maya’s prediction which says that world it’s going to end this year?

Punset: I have my own theory about this: Maya’s searched on the internet the end of

the world for end their calendar and they found this web, youtube, and they found

some videos about music in 2012 and I think they just wanted to kill themselves. And

they prefer to end the world before it becames worse.

I: Why do you buy "Pan Bimbo" everyday?

P: Because Bimbo doesn’t get hard. This bread has got a special nutrient and the

fantastics bakers put all their love to make it. Furthemore, this bread is very good for

old people that have false teeth since the bread is soft and easy to eat. Although
