Montserrat Festival reaches 40,000+ persons annually via live online streaming, TV and Radio promotions and provides sponsors

numerous promotional opportunities to reach the vast untapped market of grass-roots Festival/Carnival lovers; Culture and Music fans,

MEDIA PLAN

To reach our prospective attendees and supporters, we will use a variety of media tailored to the specific demographics and target

markets. The primary media sources include:

TV

Paid commercial promoting Montserrat’s Festival and other promotional exposure through participation in talk shows and interviews on programs, addressing issues such as travel, entertainment and cultural enrichment.

RADIO

Paid commercials promoting the Festival and through public service announcements on community based stations, calypso stations, participating talk shows and interview in programs addressing issues such as a travel, entertainment and cultural enrichment. Commercials will be aired on the following stations: Vybz FM, CSS, Radio ZJB, WBLS FM

PRESS RELEASES

Primarily in Montserrat we will host pre-event press conferences and other promotional activities to showcase artistes, announce sponsors, maintain a momentum for the Festival and provide on-going exposure for Festival 2014.

PRINT

Montserrat Festival will utilize several print media to reach our prospective patrons, including regional airline magazines, newspapers, flyers,

billboard, street board and other promotional materials.

TRAVEL PROMOTIONS

Through select travel agencies, we aim to offer discounted travel packages and admission tickets. The primary goal of the promotion is to make it more convenient to patrons outside of Montserrat to attend our Festival.

WEBSITE PROMTOTIONS

To promote Montserrat Festival in the expanding e-commerce market, we have established links with various music and travel websites (e.g.

Carnival chasers.com *) and seek placement of our Festival on major Regional and International Calendars of the Events.

Surfing prospects will be able to view our website from around the world, providing additional exposure to the Festival and its sponsors.

SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTIONS

To utilise the latest social media through up to minute and behind the scenes tweets, posts, picture and video uploads, taking Montserrat Festival viral.
