Monthly Newsletter March 2018 From the Manager’s Desk: Greetings Ponds Residents, Due to the recent change in policy, I thought it would be good to remind you all via the Newsletter in addition to an e-blast, that beginning Monday, February 26, 2018, a no cash policy went into effect for both Cresswind and the Ponds. We understand that paying with cash is often the most convenient method of payment, however for accounting purposes it is very important for all payments to be received in the form of a check or credit card via the Landarc Website. Also, please be aware that refunds will not be given for non-participation at social events that you have registered and paid for in advance. If you are unable to attend an event for any reason, you may give or sell your ticket to another resident who would like to attend. Please see below the new policy: All payments for social events and activities must be in the form of a check or credit card via the website, at www.Landarc.com . Cash will not be accepted and refunds will not be issued for non-attendance of events. We thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please do not hesitate to contact the Management Office. NEW PROGRAMS

Yoga:

Yoga is an ancient science for mental, physical, and cellular wellness that includes physical postures/exercise, meditation, mindfulness, and breathing exercises. Yoga practices are designed to move energy fluidly through the whole body to strengthen muscles, lubricate joints, build awareness of destructive habits, rewire our cellular reaction to stress, and improve the quality of our central nervous system. Practicing yoga is fun! You feel amazing at the end of class and it helps you build lasting healthy relationships!

Please take the survey!

Yoga, Art & Story Time: Join us for a new series! This program is for 4-10 years. We will move our bodies while exploring shapes and yoga postures. We will paint pictures in our minds, practice affirmations and breath work. Our stories are related to our art and yoga practice in some form or another. In this series, many of the stories have no pictures and it will be up the children to create the pictures in their imaginations. Yoga and process art are an incredible combination for every age, but especially beneficial for kids. We work on fine motor skills, gross motor skills, learning how to move our bodies mindfully, listening skills and also how to use our minds creatively/outside of the box. The price will be $45 for a 6-class series. *All our projects are open ended/process art. They are not a craft with an expected outcome. This kind of art provides children an outlet to assimilate their biggest life experiences in a safe, creative, and supportive environment...while having FUN!
